Residencies
Our programme welcomes invited artists, curators, and theorists from various fields and countries to collaborate on dedicated process-based projects amid striking Cycladic scenery in the middle of the Aegean Archipelago. Residencies take place from May to July and are free of charge.
TQP provides housing and studio facilities with the particular aim of supporting process and experimentation. Residencies last for a month. Exact dates are agreed between guests and staff, but the shape of each residency is largely up to each participant.
A group exhibition is organized at the end of each batch at the building of the Cultural Foundation of Tinos in the island's main city.
Disciplines
Sculpture, Painting, Drawing, Collage, Research, Writing, Performance
Facilities
Our facilities are located in the mountainous village of Isternia on the southwest side of Tinos 325 meters above sea level and are well suited for sculpture, painting, drawing, collage, research, writing, performance, and work that is community-driven, land-based, or ephemeral.
TQP encourages interaction with local community and culture. The serenity and openness of the rocky mountainous landscape is good for focus. Residents are given separate bedrooms in a large house located on the slope of the mountain facing the sea. We also provide cooking kits, standard utilities, and basic internet. Residents share studio space in the village's former public school that is walking distance from the house.
